​​Accreditation for training providers
To gain accreditation for your training school and your own teaching insurance, you will need to be a qualified teacher and have experience as a therapist for up to 5 years. Below is a list of accrediting bodies we have used in the past. There are many others so shop around and find the best fit for your training school:

Need a teaching qualification?
This AET award at CTC Training comes well recommended from Marion at IGCT.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET, formerly PTLLS) has approximately 48 hours of study time and, including research and assessment time, takes approximately 120 hours to complete. You can choose how you wish to divide these hours. You may wish to complete the course in a matter of weeks or spread it over the entire twelve months. The awarding body is Training Qualifications UK (TQUK).

For those of you taking one or more of our home study courses just to let you know they are accredited to ensure that we meet professional industry standards and all courses are insurable.

IGCT (International Guild of Complementary Therapists) accredit our home study, remote learning and in person courses.
IGCT recommend Towergate, Westminster and Wellbeing Insurance companies.
